Carla Pinna
AXO Consultant — Agentic Experience Optimization
I stand where worlds that don’t usually talk to each other intersect — and from an intersection, you can see what’s coming before those who stay inside a single world. Which is why more than once I was told I was crazy to believe in things: virality, which I wrote my philosophy thesis on, or social media marketing, which I bet on when Facebook was still just a new fad from the US.
That position has two roots. The first is the mind: the path — philosophy, marketing, business model design, through to the book Business Design per le PMI (LSWR, 2017) — and biology. I’m neurodivergent — ADHD and gifted. My reasoning works through lateral connections and patterns, not sequences, and it’s closer to how an AI agent thinks than to how most people do — which makes me naturally equipped to understand how an agent navigates (and gets lost) in a system. The second root is a break: in 2024 I stepped away from work to face cancer, and came back at the end of 2025. Those who’d stayed inside hadn’t noticed — the water had been heating up one degree at a time. I came back and found it boiling.
And it was immediately clear that agentic AI is changing everything again, and that AXO is a necessary discipline.
I write and explain concepts. I give talks, run training sessions, participate in conferences and roundtables. I work in English, Spanish, and Italian.
